A selection of marketing, communications, digital, and creative work developed across government, nonprofit, and private-sector organizations. My work often crosses disciplines from brand and communications to websites, campaigns, events, video, and business systems. I enjoy looking at the bigger picture, figuring out what needs to work together, and then helping bring it to life from strategy through execution.

Recruiting & Outreach Communications

Organization
U.S. Army Cyber Command (ARCYBER)
Overview
ARCYBER regularly needed communications materials to support recruiting, outreach, leadership engagements, and other public-facing initiatives. As the command's Marketing & Graphic Design Specialist, I worked closely with Public Affairs, Talent Management, senior leadership, and other stakeholders to turn complex information and organizational goals into clear, engaging communications.
The Need
Army Cyber operates in a highly technical space, but its communications still need to connect with people. The challenge was often taking complex mission information, recruiting priorities, or leadership objectives and finding the right way to communicate them visually while also meeting Army/ARCYBER branding, accessibility, copyright, and public-release requirements.
My Approach
Rather than treating each request as an isolated design project, I looked at the larger communication goal, intended audience, and how the material would ultimately be used. Depending on the initiative, that could mean developing a coordinated set of recruiting materials, digital graphics, presentations, event displays, infographics, print collateral, or social media creative.

I worked directly with stakeholders throughout the process to clarify requirements, recommend creative approaches, manage revisions and approvals, and prepare final materials for digital use or professional production.

Video & Multimedia Communications

Organization
U.S. Army Cyber Command (ARCYBER)
Overview
Video became another way to communicate Army Cyber Command's mission, capabilities, and opportunities to audiences who might not connect with the same information through traditional communications alone. I produced promotional and mission-focused video content supporting organizational awareness, outreach, and recruiting initiatives.
The Need
ARCYBER's work can be highly technical and difficult to communicate quickly. Video provided an opportunity to make that information more engaging and accessible while creating content that could capture attention across digital channels, presentations, events, and outreach efforts.
My Approach
I brought together visual storytelling, motion, audio, pacing, and existing organizational content to turn complex subject matter into polished multimedia pieces.

My involvement extended well beyond assembling footage. Depending on the project, I handled video editing, motion graphics, sound design, audio mixing, visual treatments, pacing, and AI-assisted voiceover production, bringing the individual elements together into a cohesive final piece aligned with the command's communication goals and visual standards.

Public Website Design & Development

Organization
U.S. Army Cyber Command (ARCYBER)
Overview
As part of my work with U.S. Army Cyber Command, I designed and developed the command’s official public-facing website from the ground up and continued to support its visual direction and digital presence after launch.
The Need
ARCYBER needed a public website that could organize and communicate a large amount of information while remaining easy to navigate, visually consistent with the command’s identity, responsive across devices, and compliant with Army and Section 508 accessibility requirements.

Because the website served as an important public communications channel, the work extended beyond how the site looked. Content organization, usability, accessibility, brand consistency, and ongoing performance all needed to work together.
My Approach
I approached the website as both a design project and a communications tool. I considered how visitors would find and consume information, developed the visual presentation and page structure, and built the site around a consistent user experience.

Following launch, I continued to provide oversight and support for the website to help maintain visual and brand consistency. I also reviewed website analytics and generated reports to better understand traffic and audience behavior and provide insight into the site's performance.
My Role
Web Strategy • Web Design & Development • UX/UI • Information Architecture • Digital Communications • Website Analytics & Reporting • Brand Management • Responsive Design • Section 508 Accessibility

Event Communications

Organization
Manna Church
Overview
As Art Director for a multi-location organization serving over 10,000 members across several locations, my responsibilities extended beyond creative direction and design. I helped plan and execute organizational events, coordinating the many creative, operational, financial, and production details required to take an event from an idea to the actual experience.
The Need
Large events required much more than promotional materials. Budgets, vendors, production timelines, signage, environmental graphics, printed materials, team assignments, and on-site needs all had to come together on schedule while maintaining a consistent experience for attendees.
My Approach
I worked across the full event process; helping plan what was needed, establishing production schedules, managing creative development, coordinating with vendors, monitoring budgets, overseeing signage and printed materials, and making sure the pieces were ready when and where they were needed.

As Art Director, I also managed a four-person design team and freelance creative resources, which required balancing event work with the organization's ongoing communication and creative needs.
My Role
Event Planning • Creative Direction • Budget Management • Team Leadership • Vendor Coordination • Production Scheduling • Event Communications • Signage & Environmental Graphics • Print Production

More Than a Brand: Building the Business Behind It

Organization
3A Mobile Mechanic
Overview
When I began working with 3A Mobile Mechanic, the goal wasn't simply to make the business look more professional. We needed to think about the entire experience from how customers discovered and interacted with the brand to what happened behind the scenes once they requested service.

My work ultimately crossed branding, web design and development, vehicle graphics, customer experience, workflow development, automation, and business systems; creating a stronger public-facing brand while also helping the business operate efficiently.
The Need
For a service-based business, a strong brand can help establish credibility, but the experience after a customer makes contact is just as important. 3A needed a consistent professional presence across its brand, website, and service vehicle, along with a clear process for managing customer requests and moving each job from inquiry through payment.

The challenge was creating an experience that felt simple to the customer while reducing unnecessary administrative work for the business owner.
My Approach
I developed a visual identity that could work consistently across digital and physical applications, then carried that identity into the design and development of the company website and vehicle wrap.

Beyond the visual brand, I helped map and build the workflow behind the customer experience. This included structuring the process for receiving estimate requests, preparing and sending estimates, moving approved work into the service process, collecting payment, and connecting completed transactions with the company's bookkeeping system.

Where possible, the workflow was automated to reduce repetitive administrative tasks, create a more consistent customer experience, and allow the owner to spend more time focused on servicing customers and running the business.
